Who We Are
A Two-Person Team with Deep Roots in Electric Off-Road
TrailKnox is founded and operated by two people:

- ●Xu Hongcheng — electric vehicle designer, mechanical engineer, and inventor
We are a small team by choice.
It allows us to stay focused, hands-on, and accountable for every product we release.
Chance Linx
Rider. Builder. Storyteller.
Chance Linx is responsible for brand direction, content, and community at TrailKnox.
He has a deep personal connection to outdoor sports, riding, and physical movement.
Beyond riding, Chance brings years of experience in content marketing, brand building, and community-driven growth, helping niche performance brands connect authentically with global audiences.
At TrailKnox, his role is to ensure that:

Xu Hongcheng
Electric Vehicle Inventor & Mechanical Engineer
Xu Hongcheng is the engineer behind TrailKnox products.
He grew up immersed in electric motors, mechanical systems, and invention, guided by his father — an entrepreneur and inventor who held multiple patents and spent decades building and innovating in the electric mobility industry.
Xu's family previously designed and manufactured next-generation off-road electric skateboards for globally recognized electric skateboard brands.
From an early age, Xu learned not just how to build products — but how to build them to survive real-world use.
A Story of Continuation
From Loss to Purpose
Chance and Xu first met in 2018, introduced by Xu's father.
At the time, the goal was ambitious: to bring a completely new off-road electric skateboard brand to the global market.
That plan was paused when Xu's father became seriously ill.
In 2020, Xu's father passed away.
Before his passing, Xu told his father that one day he would create his own electric motorcycle.
His father never got to see that moment.
Over the following two years, Xu worked quietly — designing, refining, and engineering a fully functional off-road electric motorcycle prototype.
The prototype proved the concept.
But without sufficient funding, it never reached mass production.
What remained was something more valuable:
Deep technical experience, hard-earned lessons, and a clear understanding of what riders actually need.
